Project zomboid traits that go away1/4/2023 It's a challenging start but not at all impossible.Eric weglarz haircut. As it stands you can take Unfit, Very Underweight, and Weak and they all go away with enough patience and careful play, leaving only positives. I would prefer if people didn't whine about it because the "fix" might be even worse. I think it's working as intended and in general pretty okay to play. In my opinion the best and most devious nerf was to climbing double fences. It's a pretty solid nerf to exactly that, eating mayonnaise for a week. However, if you are facing more than 1 zombie, your panic level will increase drastically. Eventually, the status will be completely lifted. This will gradually decrease if you keep on staring at the zombie or move away from the area. Whenever you encounter a zombie, your panic level increases to 10. the bright eyes of her true love, Winter Go away So, if you want to torture. So you'll have to fill a backpack with rocks and do sprints around the yard to get it, you won't get it from eating mayonnaise. It means you started at a disadvantage in the Fitness skill, the same as the Fitness Instructor starts with +3. It's not that you "don't gain those fitness points back after gaining weight." Meaning lifted restrictions in the way that the carry restriction and melee damage restriction are lifted. You don't actually get Strength skill from gaining weight, just reduced penalties to related stats. The Strength skill boosts these but they can all combine to produce higher or lower values over time just like your Hunger, Thirst, and Exhaustion all contribute to one or more of those stats as well. The weight states carry penalties to strength based hidden stats like melee damage and knockback, and visible stats like carry weight. The same state based trait system exists for weight, Below 50 is Emaciated, Very Underweight is 50-65, etc, with no trait being 75-85. It seems pretty obvious to me that Unfit is "the state of having 3 Fitness or less." Just like it says: Fitness -2, with 4 Fitness being "Out of Shape" and 5 Fitness being a no trait state. I guess the descriptions are not the most important things to fix in a beta version. Is this intended? A bug? Who knows, but the descriptions for the traits sure needs to be updated. (I'm guessing this happens when you start with only "out of shape" and then level up your fitness by 1) "Underweight" gives you "out of shape" trait, but it reduces your fitness level only by 1. Not sure if they go away, I think just the effect is greatly decreased. (altough bigger groups will still require beta blockers) Might be a worthwhile trait to try on my next run. PROJECT ZOMBOID TRAITS THAT GO AWAY FREEThis makes the "overweight" trait the best one to pick in terms of free points. but you do to some small extend lose the panic from seeing zombies over time. "Overweight" seems to be the only one that doesn't give you "out of shape" at the start. It does not go away when you gain/lose weight so that the weight-related trait goes away. If you START a game with a weight-related trait, you automatically gain "out of shape" trait, which reduces your fitness level. Weight-related traits has nothing to do with fitness level. Keep in mind that the test was not comprehensive, though So I did some testing and this is what I found. I read some tips, probably before build 41, that "very underweight" is almost a free trait with all the ice cream lying around.īut I found that my fitness stays at level 3 even after I became normal-weight.
